Located at 008° N Phuket is the ideal gateway to the Andaman Sea. On hundreds of islands there are miles and miles of beaches, streams and promontories. In splendid tropical climate the beaches are lined by palm trees – with untouched white sand, crystal clear water and marvellous coral reefs.
Add this to the widely known hospitality of the Thai people, to their excellent cuisine and culture, and Thailand will become justifiable Asia’s sailing area No. 1. The air temperature ranges from 25° to 32° (water temperature 28°).
You can sail comfortably around the year, as there are no typhoons and even the monsoon season is rather calm.
The base is located only 15 minutes from the airport Phuket in the “Yacht Haven Marina” in the east of Phuket.
You will find the office in the residential complex of the marina, with a view over the total facility and the canal of Phang Nga Bay. Directly alongside are the swimming pool and the fitness centre, the ideal place to relax after the arrival journey.
The supermarkets of Phuket are less then 20 km away. You will also find grocery stores with delivery service. Some of the restaurants close-by will welcome you with the typical taste of Thai cuisine.
